Ben in Prag

I spent my year abroad at the Karls University in Prague. Both the university, with new insights into American studies, and life in another country broadened my horizons. Through the Erasmus program, I had a lot of contact with international students from Europe and all over the world and was able to make many new friends.

Franzi auf dem Campus der Univsersity of Oregon

I spent my year abroad at the University of Oregon. The university’s extensive course options allowed me to dip my toes into parts of American history and culture I hadn’t had much contact with before. I also met a lot of interesting people and got to see a lot of the country, while really experiencing what it’s like to live in the United States. Spending 9 months at the University of Oregon was a very eye-opening experience, and definitely changed my view of the United States in a way that is useful for my continued studies in Heidelberg.
